How The Ceramic Painting Works...
Choose a bisque from our large contemporary range of pottery, we have cups, plates, figurines, saucers, small and large bowls, jugs, tiles and much much more. If you have a specific item you would like to paint, we can always, if available, order and purchase from our supplier.
Now you are ready to paint. This is where the fun really starts and you can let your imagination run wild! You may already have lots of ideas of your own but we have lots of books and internet ideas to help your imagination.
Once you have decided on your design, you can either free draw your design onto your ceramic or trace a picture onto your bisque. The ideas and ways of producing your design are endless and so much fun. Whether you are a complete beginner or an experienced painter, the outcome of your bisque will look professional and amazing.
Once you have completed your piece it will then need to dry, in our drying trays. We then glaze it for you within a few days ready for you to collect or we can send it to you by post.
You will need to allow at least 2 hours for your visit to the studio to ensure you have plenty of time to create and complete your masterpiece.
Coming soon to the studio, our own potters’ wheel, where you can create your own ceramic, we can kiln fire your piece, you come back and paint your art then we glaze the item for you. The wheel can be used by either Adults or Children over the age of 5 years old.
